I enjoy living in Kansas City and have called it home since 1980. After completing law school at University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law in 1983, I realized rather quickly that I wanted to have my own private law practice.

In 1987, I began working for an experienced attorney with many years of experience representing truck drivers and trucking companies in commercial motor vehicle matters. The experience I gained there was invaluable. A few years later I started my own practice and have spent a significant amount of time developing it in the areas of traffic law, commercial motor vehicle law, drug and alcohol law, family law and estate planning, probate, and mediation. I enjoy the variety these practice areas offer me professionally. I also cherish the relationships I have developed with my clients and peers over the years.

Living and working in Kansas City for these many years has given me an extensive knowledge of the Kansas City Metropolitan area and its various jurisdictions and laws. I have also been honored to develop many strong professional relationships with other area attorneys and judges. With over 39 years of legal experience, I provide my clients with compassionate, comprehensive and aggressive legal representation.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, travel, reading and theatre.
